The term audio-visual (AV) may refer to works with both a sound and a visual component, the production or use of such works, or the equipment involved in presenting such works. Films and television programs are examples of audio-visual presentations.

A function hall or banquet hall is a room for the purpose of hosting a party, banquet, reception, or other social event. These are often found within the buildings of clubs and fraternal organizations (rented out as a fundraiser for the organization) or within a restaurant.

Caricatures can be insulting or complimentary and can serve a political purpose or be drawn solely for entertainment. Caricatures of politicians are commonly used in editorial cartoons, while caricatures of movie stars are often found in entertainment magazines.

Clowns are comical performers, stereotypically characterized by their grotesque appearances: colored wigs, stylistic makeup, outlandish costumes, unusually large footwear, red-nose, etc., who entertain spectators by acting in a hilarious fashion. The types of their acts varies greatly. Although some find clowns to be scary, their intended purpose is to entertain people, especially young children.

A limousine, or limo, is a luxury vehicle sedan with a lengthened wheelbase driven by a chauffeur. The chassis of a limousine may have been extended by the manufacturer. These are referred to as "stretch" limousines and are traditionally black or white in color.

A petting zoo, often called a children's zoo, features a combination of domestic animals and some wild species that are docile enough to touch and feed. In addition to independent petting zoos, also called children's farms, many general zoos contain a petting zoo. Some petting zoos are also mobile and will travel to a home for a children's party or event. Many areas have a qualified mobile petting zoo.

A singing telegram is a message, transmitted by telegram or otherwise, that is delivered by an artist in a musical form. Singing telegrams are historically linked to normal telegrams, but tend to be humorous. Sometimes the artist is in costume or formal clothing. Singing telegrams are often given as a gift.
